ProQuest Helps Safari Celebrate Addition Of 3000th Book To e-Reference Library
Safari has added the 3000th book to its Safari Tech Books Online e-reference library. ProQuest is the exclusive distributor of Safari Tech Books Online to academic, public, and K-12 libraries and non-exclusive distributor for government libraries. The online-publisher has helped Safari reach several hundred public and academic library customers.
Safari launched its flagship product, Safari Tech Books Online, three years ago with a few hundred best selling titles from owners O’Reilly Media, Inc and The Pearson Technology Group. Pearson imprints include such well known names as Addison-Wesley, Cisco Press, Prentice Hall, Peachpit Press and many more.
Since then Safari has formed partnerships with other well-known publishers such as Microsoft Press, IBM Redbooks, Premier Press and Nolo Press to name a few. Safari Tech Books Online now has more than 3000 titles. It has also launched Safari Business Books Online, which covers a wide range of critical business skills ranging from communication and problem-solving to leadership, customer service and employee performance. The e-reference business books deliver instant, reliable answers to important topical business questions and research needs. The library includes imprints from well-known publishers such as Addison-Wesley, Alpha Books, Financial Times - Prentice Hall, Prentice Hall PTR, QUE, and Sams Publishing.
